Who we are

ElevenUp is run by LearnWithPride [company name, registered address, company number and ICO registration number]. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: [email address].

What we collect and why

• Parent account: your name, email address, a scrambled (hashed) password and parent PIN. Used to run your account (contract).
• Children: first name, school year and the tests you're aiming for. We don't ask for surnames, dates of birth, schools or photos of children.
• Practice data: the questions your child answers, their answers, time taken, and any writing they submit (typed or a photo of handwriting). Used to choose questions, mark work and show you progress (contract).
• Payments: handled by Stripe. We keep your subscription status and Stripe customer reference, never your card details.

Who processes data for us

• Vercel (website hosting) and Neon (database), hosted in the UK/EU region where available.
• Anthropic (Claude AI), to write practice questions and give feedback on writing. Writing your child submits is sent to Anthropic for feedback. We don't send your child's name, and Anthropic doesn't use API data to train its models.
• Stripe, for payments.

Children's privacy

Accounts are created and managed by a parent or guardian. Children's profiles are private, there is no chat, no advertising, no public profiles and no sharing of data with other users. We collect only what's needed for practice.

How long we keep it

While your account is active. If you cancel, we keep your family's data for 12 months so you can come back to it, then delete it. You can remove a child (and their data) at any time from their settings, or ask us to delete everything sooner.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
